FORT WORTH, Texas — Longhorns are in Fort Worth. No, really. The Longhorns are in Fort Worth.

No. 2-ranked Texas volleyball is back in Cowtown for the first time since 2023, but the former TCU foes are not here for the Horned Frogs. They're in town for the inaugural Shriners Children's Showdown at the Net.

Dickies Arena will host a special one-night event on Wednesday featuring four of the top 10-ranked teams in women's college volleyball.

No. 3 Kentucky and No. 6 Pittsburgh will lead off the doubleheader, followed by the Longhorns and No. 4 Louisville. Both matches will be televised nationally on ESPN.
