If you’re a Mazda owner, you’ll want to check your vehicle following a Canada-wide recall of thousands of units.

On Sept. 2, Transport Canada announced the recall of certain Mazda vehicle models due to a safety issue. A total of 14,350 units are being recalled in Canada and 104,854 units in the U.S. The recall affects two types of Mazda SUVs: the 2025 CX-70 model and the 2024 and 2025 CX-90 models.

“On certain vehicles, an incorrect fuel level may be displayed on the instrument cluster,” reads the statement. “As a result, the driver may be unaware of how much fuel is in the tank, and the vehicle could run out of fuel and stall.”
