WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Friday “with a high degree of certainty” that the suspect in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been caught.

Law enforcement officials later identified the suspect in custody as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson .

The president revealed that information during a live interview on "Fox and Friends." Trump credited "a minister who is involved with law enforcement" in helping turn the suspect in.

An AP source said Robinson's father saw surveillance photos and worked with a pastor to encourage surrender in Kirk's killing.
