NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — New Jersey is the latest state pushing back against new federal guidelines on COVID-19 shots.
The Governor and Department of Health have issued a directive allowing anyone 6 months or older to get a vaccine.
Controversial new federal guidelines, pushed by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, only allow people over 65 or those with underlying health conditions to get a COVID vaccine without a doctor’s prescription.
New Jersey now joins New York in making vaccines available to anyone who wants one.
