Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

Video of the incident circulating on social media showed Kirk responding to a student when a loud crack, a gunshot, rang out. Footage showed him clutching his neck before collapsing from his chair, as blood spewed from his body.

His team of people would eventually run to his aid to try to save his life. No medical personnel appeared to be in attendance to help with his massive injury that would later claim his life.

In an effort to get him the help he desperately needed, Charlie Kirk’s security team was seen holding his body and throwing him in the back of a black SUV to take him to a hospital.
