UMass Boston reports ‘public safety threat,' students reportedly told to stay in their dorms

There was a “public safety threat” at the University of Massachusetts Boston Thursday afternoon, the university announced around 3:40 p.m.

UMass Boston announced at 5:11 p.m. that police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
