FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Anyone with old electronics that they want to dispose of properly can do so this weekend at Mission Thrift’s free E-Waste Recycling Event in Fresno.

The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1850 E. Griffith Way in Fresno. Residents are invited to drop off old devices from computers and TVs to phones and small gadgets for safe, no-cost recycling.

Organizers say the effort is more than just helping the environment. Proceeds from recycled items will support Fresno Mission’s programs that provide shelter, food assistance, job training, counseling, and other vital services.
