In one of the most well-attended AI Horizons Summit panels of the day, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro touted the state’s capabilities and commitment to further the development of artificial intelligence.
Mr. Shapiro, who has been an early and vocal supporter of what many are calling the AI revolution, noted how Pennsylvania is uniquely positioned to help lead the country through what promises to be an era of historic change.
“We were the epicenter of growth and development and revolution because of the coal under our ground and because of the steel that we’ve made here,” he said. “And now, this is the next chapter in our innovative growth.”
