The remarks were made during an interview on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and came a day after the shooting of a close friend.

Donald Trump Jr. spoke on Thursday about the transgender community and political violence during an interview on the “Megyn Kelly Show,” following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

During the interview, which aired on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Trump Jr. said that no other group, “including probably like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban,” is “more violent per capita than the radical trans moment.”

He also claimed that transgender individuals are likely “responsible for other ‘mass killings’ that the public is not aware of.”
