Assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone knows the work K Andre Szmyt puts into his kicking technique.
Going all the way back to the end of the 2024 season when Szmyt spent time with the Browns on their practice squad, through the 2025 offseason and into the first week of the regular season, he has witnessed how Szmyt approaches his process. He's strung solid practices together, made key kicks during the preseason and is in the right mental frame for kicking.
That's why, even after missing a key field goal and extra point in Week 1 against the Bengals, Ventrone's confidence has not wavered in Szmyt.
