One week into the start of the new school year, BPS officials are reporting gains in bus on-time performance, attendance and more key metrics headed into the new school year.

“There’s a number of things that we’re proud of, including the district-wide use of the high-quality instructional materials, our gains in chronic absenteeism rates and the on-time performance of our school buses,” Superintendent Mary Skipper reported to the School Committee at the first Wednesday night meeting of the school year.
