SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A Pacific storm system will continue to bring unsettled weather across the region.
Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool, peaking in the low 80s in the valley, upper 70s in the foothills, and the chilly 60s in the Sierra.
Storm activity will shift east into the Sierra today, with thunderstorms developing by early afternoon and lingering into the evening. Very cold air aloft may produce mixed precipitation, including small hail and graupel, especially at higher elevations. A slight chance of storms also remains for the coastal hills and valley foothills. Some storms could move slowly or stall, raising concerns for localized flooding.
