Fort Wayne officials Thursday asked people to take three surveys that will help shape growth of three retail areas.

The surveys are gathering information for South Calhoun Street from Grand Street to Rudisill Boulevard; Waynedale around Lower Huntington, Bluffton and Old Trail roads; and East State Boulevard from Spy Run Avenue to Florida Drive, a news release said.

Officials are encouraging those who live, work, worship or shop in those areas to complete the survey, which is online at https://engage.CityofFortWayne.org/corridor-retail-study .

The surveys will be used for a Fort Wayne Retail Opportunity Study conducted by the firm &Access.

"The study will serve as a roadmap for revitalizing and sustaining retail services in these three districts," the news release said.
