DENVER (KDVR) — Numerous law enforcement officers were on the scene of an incident on eastbound Interstate 70 near Lookout Mountain that has shut down traffic.

The Colorado State Patrol said that the agency had responded to a call for shots fired at troopers.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said there had been an officer-involved shooting at a nearby Walmart in Evergreen.
