LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A woman is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run crash in south Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The collision occurred just after 10 p.m. near Las Vegas and Silverado Ranch boulevards. According to Metro Police, a dark-colored SUV or sedan struck a 55-year-old Michele Digregorio while she was walking across Las Vegas Boulevard.

The driver did not stop or return to the scene. Digregorio was taken to UMC with life-threatening injuries.

A stroller holding a dog was also involved in the crash. Thursday, FOX5 learned the dog is OK, and is being cared for by rescue group “Street Dogz.”

Street Dogz Homeless Outreach Coordinator Janice Tucker identified the dog as 17-year-old “Krissy.”
