SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) - Eight students and two drivers are injured after a crash involving a school bus in Sandusky County on Thursday evening.

The crash happened just before 7 p.m. on County Road 32 at County Road 41 in Scott Township.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a preliminary investigation revealed that a Northwood Local Schools bus didn't stop at a stop sign and was struck by an oncoming Jeep Compass.

There were 26 people, including students, on-board the bus at the time of the crash.

Investigators said six students and the bus driver, a 67-year-old Northwood man, were taken by ambulance to ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont for minor injuries. Another student with minor injuries was taken to ProMedica Bay Park Hospital.
