JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFYR) – Crews are responding to a fire at the demolition site of a building on the University of Jamestown campus that was damaged by a separate fire in January.
The university posted a brief statement on its Facebook page Thursday evening, saying there was a fire in the cafeteria area of the Badal Nafus Center.
In January, a fire broke out at the center but was contained to its kitchen and dining area. No one was hurt.
Thursday night the university said all adjoining buildings were cleared, and the fire was contained to the demolition site.
The school thanked first responders for their efforts.
It’s unclear what caused the current fire.
This is a developing story.
