WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Despite being raised in Washington, D.C., and educated at Yale, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh spoke Thursday night about his fondness for Texas and about his close personal ties to former Baylor President Ken Starr and former President George W. Bush.
Kavanaugh spoke to a crowd of about 2,500 as special guest of McLennan Community College’s Ken Starr Lecture Series, while about 50 protesters carried signs behind a roped-off area about 75 yards from the entrance to the Highlands Gym.
