HUNTLEY, Mont. – A group of Yellowstone County residents - known as "Citizens for Our Veterans" - is transforming a privately-owned plot of land on the corner of Nehmis Avenue and Third Street into Veterans Park. This park will feature spaces for fishing, camping and barbecuing, but the project is starting with a racetrack for remote-controlled cars.
Lance Brown, a veteran and the park manager, said they are accepting donations of materials or manpower to help complete the park. He hopes the new RC track - which he'd like to have ready for next spring - will spark interest in the hobby among kids and young adults.
