Special to The Desert Sun

Earlier this year, the National League of American Pen Women invited two of their own to share stories about life as a Desert Sun guest reporter. Marge Dodge and I, both Pen Women members, have reported on charity events for more than a decade, and at the event both of us had stories to tell of the most meaningful and most challenging.

Both of us have been truly impressed with the awesome generosity of the people in the desert community, and we love telling about the events.
