A former Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed why she turned down two professional partners before signing up for the BBC show last year

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Toyah Willcox turned down two partners before joining the show as she admitted "it felt wrong". ‌

The 80s music icon became the second celebrity to be eliminated from last year's series, alongside her professional partner Neil Jones . ‌

During her appearance on Good Morning Britain on Friday (September 12), Toyah chatted with Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder about her decision to choose Neil after turning down the show's original partner suggestions. ‌

"Lots of people feel like they don't have control over things. You seem like a person that grabs your own pen in life and writes chapters for your own novel.
