LONDON (Reuters) -The British public’s expectations for inflation in five years’ time rose to their highest since 2019 at 3.8% in August, up from 3.6% in May, a Bank of England survey showed on Friday.
The BoE survey showed expectations for inflation in the next 12 months rose to a two-year high of 3.6%, up from 3.2% in May.
