The Skyline Room was a fitting spot for Wednesday afternoon’s fête.
Located on the sixth floor of the Museum of Science, the floor-to-ceiling windows provided those fortunate enough to be in attendance with a stunning vantage point from which to admire Boston, the Charles River, Cambridge and the lands beyond; a view of places ruled 50 years earlier by a baseball team that captured the attention and adoration of the region, and whose hold on their hearts remains firm to this day.
