Houston, TX, For nearly five months, Lizbet Avila has been following her family's new norm of talking to her mother on the phone daily, instead of meeting her for dinner, since she was deported back to Belize.

We can’t do a lot for her here, and it’s just very difficult”. said Avila.

Since her mother, Margarita Avila, was deported in July, Lizbet and her family have been shipping products to her mother and two younger brothers so they can still live comfortably while they try to find ways to get her back home.

It all started back in March when Lizbeth and a United States Postal mail carrier got into an altercation with her mother. Lizbet said her mother quickly called her to alert her about what happened and that she wanted to wait for law enforcement to arrive.
