The Matildas have announced an international friendly against England this October, the first time they will face the European champions since the semifinal of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Australia will play two matches in the United Kingdom, with a match against Wales in Cardiff followed by a clash with the Lionesses in Derby.
The Matildas were eliminated from their home world cup by the Lionesses 3-1, in front of more than 75,000 fans at Stadium Australia in Sydney.
