Belle Chasse senior Savion Barthelemy has been a starter since his freshman season and has shared the field with family members the entire time.
Savion’s first two years at Belle Chasse were played alongside older brother Sterling Barthelemy, who is a sophomore at Arkansas Baptist. Savion is also in line to play college football as he committed to Texas State this summer after receiving multiple Division I offers.
Now a two-way starter for Belle Chasse at defensive end and tight end, Barthelemy finished with 12 tackles for a loss and seven sacks as a junior. He shares the field with his first cousin Glenn Davis, a senior who starts on the defensive line.
