The Met Office has increased the number of regions impacted by its latest yellow weather wind warning.

Yesterday, September 11, four regions were pinpointed to be primarily impacted by windy conditions set to hit Britain between 8pm on Sunday, September 14 and 6pm on Monday, September 15, however, this has since been updated to include nine UK areas this morning (September 12).

This includes both the West Midlands and the East Midlands, with UK households urged to be prepared for "some disruption."

Experts at the Met Office wrote: " Strong and gusty winds are likely to cause some disruption to travel and interruptions to power.
