MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - We have some nice weather on the way as we head into the upcoming weekend. High pressure will dominate the weather around here for today. We will have some scattered areas of fog in the morning with visibility under a mile in some spots.

The fog will dissipate quickly, though and sunshine will return For the later part of the morning and into the afternoon. Temperatures will respond to the sunshine with highs anticipated in the lower 80s for today.

A warm front will pass through the region late tonight or early tomorrow. That front will trigger the development of scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms after midnight tonight. Some of that may linger into the morning hour
