ORLANDO, Fla. – There’s some early activity brewing in the far eastern Atlantic and while there’s no immediate threat, it’s something to keep an eye on as we head into the new week.
A tropical wave that just moved off the west coast of Africa is kicking up disorganized showers and storms over the eastern tropical Atlantic. While it’s still early and the system remains unorganized, conditions could become more favorable for development in the coming days. No description found
Right now, the National Hurricane Center gives it a low chance (near 0%) of formation over the next 48 hours, but things could ramp up after that. Looking ahead into next week, the odds of this wave becoming a tropical depression rise to 40%.
