President Donald Trump attended Thursday night's Tigers-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium in New York, to mark the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.

It marked the 11th time a sitting United States president has watched a Tigers game in person, and the first time in more than five decades, since President Richard Nixon in 1970. The Tigers are 3-7-1 in those 11 games, all but Thursday's having been played in Washington, D.C.

The other sitting presidents to watch a Tigers game in person include William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson, Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy.
