GENEVA (Reuters) -A World Health Organization official said on Friday it is possible to contain Congo’s latest Ebola outbreak, provided that the right steps are taken within the next two weeks.

“It’s possible, but it will be challenging,” WHO Programme Area Manager Patrick Otim told a Geneva briefing, calling for more support for the government and other partners.

He said that 400 doses of Ebola vaccines had arrived at the outbreak’s epicenter in Bulape, Kasai province, and that the campaign could begin on Saturday.
