President Trump said during an announcement this morning on Fox News that the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk has been caught, saying, "I think with a high degree of certainty we have him in custody."
The president's statement comes after authorities were able to track the suspected shooter's movements on campus after the shooting by using video surveillance, saying he fired from a rooftop overlooking the courtyard as Kirk spoke.
They had released video showing what they believe is the suspect's escape.
Beau Mason, Utah Department of Public Safety, said, "Here you see the suspect after dropping off the building. He moved around across this grass area, around the parking lot."
