Puppy Smells Bacon, Is Determined To Find It—but There's a Big Problem

Hearts have melted at a puppy determined to get a bite of the bacon he can smell cooking—but his nose might need some fine tuning.

Merlin is a cockapoo puppy, a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle, and has become an overnight social-media sensation after millions watched his attempt to get some frying bacon.

His owner, who posts to TikTok under the username @worldofwhimsy_, shared a video on July 14, showing Merlin jumping up and down restlessly, trying urgently to reach the bacon he can smell cooking.
