An Edinburgh mum has issued a desperate plea after her beloved dog disappeared from her garden.
Maryann O'Neill, who lives in Royston , was frantic when her chihuahua Blu escaped. After running around the neighbourhood, she found out Blu had made it to the sea.
After speaking with some dog walkers, Maryann saw Blu's body in the water - but it was too far out to do anything, and the current was carrying her further out. Now, she's hoping someone might have seen Blu so that she can 'have her home'.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Maryann O'Neill said: "Blu escaped from the garden at around 5pm on September 11.
"Myself and my daughter searched locally up and down streets and in communal gardens, stopping people as we passed them. A local person told us he seen her and tried to catch her
