After searching for her place in the WNBA in her first three seasons, Naz Hillmon is having a breakout year.
One of Michigan’s all-time greatest players, Hillmon is a frontrunner for at least one individual WNBA award this year, her fourth with the Atlanta Dream.
ESPN’s panel of four experts all predicted this week that Hillmon will win the league’s Most Sixth Player of the Year. The outlet also tabbed her as a candidate for Most Improved Player.
“Hillmon was the No. 15 pick in the second round of the 2022 draft, and we’re seeing how the Dream’s belief in her has worked out,” Michael Voepel wrote.
