Holy Cross junior Savoy Guidry intercepted a short pass near the sideline and ran nearly the full length of the field for a touchdown.
With that, De La Salle went from having a chance to take a lead late in the first half to suddenly being down by two scores, which proved insurmountable as Holy Cross completed a 20-0 victory Thursday at Tad Gormley Stadium.
The 84-yard interception return came after senior Ke’Rynn Smith ran for a touchdown earlier in the second quarter.
