Deadline first reported Cavill sustained an injury while prepping for director Chad Stahelski’s upcoming Highlander remake. While the nature of his injury is still unknown, it’s serious enough that shooting is likely not going to commence for a few months. The Hollywood Reporter says the movie had been ready to begin principal photography this month. Now filming is likely to begin at the start of 2026.
