BATAVIA — The Downtown Scarecrow Contest will be back Oct. 4 in the Batavia Business Improvement District (BID).

"Businesses, agencies, organizations and families, this is your chance to show off your creativity and add some extra personality to Main Street," BID Executive Director Shannon Maute said in a press release.
