LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Fresh off their dramatic 35-33 win over Hereford last week, the Estacado Matadors (1-1) face one of their toughest tests of the year as No. 2 West Plains comes to Lowrey Field.

Estacado head football coach Eric Ward is well-aware of the challenge the Wolves will present.

“Very solid team, 18 starters. That’s pretty unheard of. It’s their second senior class. They’re a mature team, they’re solid, and obviously they’re ranked for a reason,” he said. “The focus is on us playing our brand of football, going out there and playing as a team, executing at a high level.”
