An unusual fish was reeled in by an angler on Cordell Hull Lake recently.

While a bass is pretty common in the state, this one stood out - because it was orange!

One could argue that an orange bass makes perfect sense for Tennessee.

A post on the Wildwood Resort and Marina earlier this week explained the unique catch:

“My husband and I were fishing when I caught it. After looking it up, I realized it was a one-in-a-million orange bass!”

The fish was caught by a woman and her husband fishing on the lake, located about an hour east of Nashville.
