A day after signing a skilled long-range sniper (Landry Shamet), the franchise secured the services of a former Boston Celtics Sixth Man of the Year to help Jalen Brunson win his first title.

“Free agent guard Malcolm Brogdon has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Knicks,” ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Friday. “Entering his 10th NBA season, the former Sixth Man of the Year gives the Knicks key backcourt depth and reserve playmaking.”
