The Super Mario Bros. are taking things to the next level.
Mario, Luigi and Co. will prepare for takeoff in "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie," the sequel to 2023's "The Super Mario Bros. Movie."
Universal Pictures, Illumination and Nintendo announced the title, returning cast and an April 3, 2026, release date in the U.S. for the sequel on Friday.
A teaser for the movie shows a butterfly flutter past a sleeping Mario, past Princess Peach's castle and up into space, where the title appears.
