As the Victoria Grizzlies wrap up pre-season, they’ve made two roster moves, highlighted by the signing of hometown forward Parker MacDougall. The team also announced the addition of 20-year-old forward Samuel Rousseau.
MacDougall, 18, has impressed in two pre-season appearances with the Grizzlies, recording two goals and two assists for four points. His early production offers a glimpse of his offensive upside.
He’s no stranger to Victoria’s hockey scene.
MacDougall played for the South Island Royals in 2021-22 at both the U15 and U17 levels before moving on to Pacific Coast Academy in Langford for two seasons. Last year, he stepped up to the Western Hockey League with the Red Deer Rebels, registering two assists in 16 games.
