The mother of a missing Western Kentucky woman has appealed the dismissal of her lawsuit against the FBI and Kentucky State Police, saying there are too many "undeniable truths" to let it go.

Sarah Teague filed the appeal Sept. 10 and it was entered into U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals records a day later. The lawsuit stemmed from the three-decade-long investigation into the disappearance of Sarah's daughter, Heather Teague: a 23-year-old Webster County woman who was reportedly abducted from Newburgh Beach on Aug, 26, 1995 and never seen again.

Sarah had accused KSP and the FBI of conspiracy to interfere with civil rights; failure to train and supervise their officers and agents; negligence; wrongful death; and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
