Well, it’s about to get significantly worse, because Nintendo announced in its September 12 broadcast that Hades II , the long-anticipated sequel to Supergiant Games’s 2020 roguelike action game Hades, will be released digitally on September 25 and physically on November 20. An early access form of the game has been available to PC gamers since 2024 who will now get the full game alongside Switch players in two weeks. Hades II will run in “blazing-fast 120fps in TV Mode on Nintendo Switch 2,” per Nintendo Direct, which means if you haven’t already burned a hole in your checking account on a Switch 2, now’s the time.
