DALLAS — More than 4.5 million people in 216 different countries signed up for the the Visa Presale Draw, according to FIFA.

In the first 24 hours, 1.5 million people had signed up.

FIFA officials said most of the applications came from the United States, Mexico and Canada, which makes sense given they will jointly host the 2026 World Cup next summer. The top ten countries, in order of demand, were rounded out by Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Italy.
