DANE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - New details were released on Friday regarding last month’s officer-involved shooting death in Peshtigo.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) released the names of those involved in the incident that happened on the morning of Friday, August 29.

On that Friday morning, law enforcement officers in Marinette County were attempting to locate a vehicle related to a suspicious death investigation in Dane County.

A Marinette Police officer spotted the vehicle in Marinette at around 9:12 a.m. and tried to pull it over. The vehicle fled, leading multiple law enforcement officers on a high-speed pursuit along US Highway 41 southbound that resulted in the vehicle crashing and coming to a stop near the intersection of US Highw
