A large law enforcement presence was in Franklin Park Friday morning after multiple law enforcement sources tell NBC Chicago a federal ICE agent was dragged by the driver of a car after officials attempted to pull the vehicle over.

As the driver attempted to take off, the agent fired a shot, the law enforcement sources said. It wasn't immediately clear if the incident was part of an enforcement action.

Photos and video captured by NBC Chicago and Telemundo photographers showed multiple law enforcement vehicles in the area. Police tape could also be seen blocking off a large food distribution truck and a grey sedan.
