Wagering revenue at Hoosier State casinos grew in August compared to last year despite a dip at three of the four gaming establishments in Northwest Indiana.
Data released Friday by the Indiana Gaming Commission show Indiana casinos tallied $220.2 million in August win — or revenue after paying successful bettors — a 2.4% increase versus the $215 million in statewide win for August 2024.
As usual, Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana bested its 12 Indiana competitors for a 46th consecutive month with $36.2 million in August win.
While that was down 5.1% from its August 2024 win of $38.1 million, Hard Rock still single-handedly accounted for more than 16% of the statewide total win last month, according to the IGC.
