The murder of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy for his family and for this country, and yet President Donald Trump is already placing blame on the left of the political spectrum for his death (“As Trump blames ‘far left,’ former presidents weigh in,” Sept. 12). Rather than being presidential and seeking to calm the country, to unite the country, he, as always, foments more divisiveness. Unlike previous presidents, he is incapable of expressing anything but anti-left propaganda. He just can’t help himself, and that, too, is tragic.

This country will never heal under this administration.
